Treatment :
i. Seed treatment : Pantbioagent-3 (Trichoderma harzianum + Pseudomonas florescence) @ 10 gm./kg.
ii. Spraying of Same bioagent @ 10gm./lit. after 15 days of sowing
iii. Impact of the technology (Adoption status, area to be spread, expected increase in production, income and employment) : : Adoption status : Farmers of 6 villages ie saryatal, Rusi, Chopra, Kosani, Bhaluti and danger have adopted the variety with IPM technology and convinced by the result of demonstration trials following table shows the popularity of technologies.

Name of Technology : Introduction of resistant breed of poultry in high hill of district Nainital.

Character of Technology : Improved breeds Impact of the technology : Krishi Vigyan Kendra Jeolikote conducted trial to find out suitable poultry breeds in high hill conditions the recommended practice could not stop recurrence for poultry breeds . The technology recommended was fine a breeds of Cari-Devendra and Cari-Nirbhick of suitable in hill condition.

Character of technology : Stress/load on head and hands, less efficiency and more time consuming practice for farm women by carrying water on heads in metallic container.

  • Adoption status : Farmers of more than 6 villages of Dhari, Okhalkanda, Bhimtal Block are adopting the technology.
  • Area to be Spread : 40 Family
  • Expected increase in production : more than 30 %
  • Income : Time and energy saving.
  • Result : i. Traditional drudgery Mean =262/10=26.20
    ii. Improving drudgery Mean =113/10=11.30

    Name of Technology : Promotion of strawberry for livelihood security of small Farmers.

  • Cultivation of strawberry is directly associated to livelihood security of small Farmers.
  • The strawberry crop was totally damaged in previous years due to high incidence of diseases.

    Name of Technology : Cultivation of Vegetable pea under Rainfed condition.

    Character of technology : i. Improved varieties
    ii. Sowing from 20 December to 15 Jan. under rainfed condition and harvesting from March - May.

  • Adoption status : Farmers of more than 15 villages of Dhari Block are adopting the technology.
  • Area to be Spread : > 200 ha.
  • Expected increase in production : more than 18 %
  • Income : Farmers are earning about Rs. 1.0 lakh/ha. Under rainfed condition.
  • Employment : Involvement of
